Host Candidates or Elected Officials on a Tour of Your Farm

Purpose:

The purpose of hosting candidates and/or current elected officials on a tour of your farm is to build relationships, increase awareness of issues and educate one another, demonstrate modern production agricultural operations, and to discover opportunities for working together on public policy issues that provide a viable future for agriculture.  Farm tours are also a great opportunity to invite your neighbors, friends, and extended family to get to know the candidate(s) or elected official(s) that will be in attendance.
